These slippers are very soft and squishy. They are also a little more bulky than I expected. I'm not sure how to describe them exactly, but it's similar to the fluff of wearing bunny slippers. The bottoms are cloth, not rubber and not even a sturdier cloth than the top, although there are some traction dots.
My husband threw his away after about a year because there were many holes in the fabric, but he wore them almost daily for that year even occasionally outside to get the paper. I think that was pretty good use for the price.
They also seemed a bit small. If your shoe size is on the high end of the range, I might suggest getting the next bigger size, especially if you are buying them for someone whose feet are still growing.
